Siapa tahu, ketika Anda menelaah ide itu lebih lanjut, Anda bisa tercetus ide lainnya yang ternyata berguna bagi Anda dan kehidupan pengasuhan Anda.
A few plate strategies for you?
1. Start with a smaller amount of food, then offer more if your one little requests or shows interest. Use your judgement when your little one is wanting lots of more of one specific item and not eating the rest. Don't stress too much about though. Let them learn how to understand their satiety (fullness) cues.
2. It's okay to challenge your little one's. Soup may not seem appropriate for toddler's but it's great for dripping and allowing them to work on their motor skills. 'Practice make Perfect'
3. Try to offering the healthiest option front and centers. It's human nature to reach for what easy, therefore your little one may, key word "may", be more inclined to reach more veggie if their're the easiest to grab. This is not a full proof solution to getting them eat more veggie, but it's worth to try!
Meal time it's not just for fun and it's not just for nutrition. It's for both! Building a positive experience at mealtime can do wonders with creating a healthy relationship with food.
So, take a deep breath mommy (and dads) and trust your little one, let go of some of the power struggles at meal time and have fun!!!!
